1997 - 2000
Advico Young & Rubicam, Zürich

After a year's internship at Fischer Werbung in Küsnacht/ZH, I joined the client service department of one of the leading advertising agencies in Gockhausen/Zurich. SGB and SBV had completed their merger to form UBS and there was a huge demand for the design and implementation of advertising and communication measures.

2000 - 2002
McCann-Erickson, Zürich

Smoking was socially acceptable and our tobacco multinational was proud to invest in the media. Self-imposed advertising restrictions gave way to bans and I had to deal with ethical issues in my profession early on. Lots of very creative people at Rigiplatz - great vibes.

2002 - 2004
Mediaxis, Zürich

Change to the start-up media agency Mediaxis and thus hello GRP. In a small team and office in Seefeld, we developed strategy and media planning for two large FMCG clients and placed their messages in a still digital-less media landscape in Switzerland. A lot of energy and enthusiasm in the team for common goals.

2004 - 2011
B,G,Media/ZenithOptimedia, Zürich

Leading position in a large international agency in Seefeld and a reunion with a major bank. A wealth of other clients allowed us to work with people from different backgrounds. Staying authentic was the door opener for successful years together in what is probably still the most familiar agency of all.

2011 - 2014
Ringier Romandie, Lausanne & Zofingen

Time out and change to the media provider side. As a freelancer, I helped out in business development at media agencies and returned to B, G, Media/Zenithmedia for a year as interim Managing Director. As a part-time Key Account Manager, I was responsible for the print and digital portfolio of Ringier Romandie and the sales of all media agencies in German-speaking Switzerland.

2014 - 2021
Vizeum/dentsu, Lausanne & Zürich

Start as Managing Director of Vizeum Switzerland AG in Kreis 5, digital integration into Client Service, establishment of new teams in Zurich and Lausanne thanks to many client wins. Together we established dentsu as one of the leading agency networks in Switzerland. Lots of talent in the Lausanne and Zurich teams!

Winter 2021
sunnberg, Einsiedeln 

Time out from management tasks, back to day-to-day business with clients. Coaching people and projects in MarKom as well as energy, enthusiasm and going the extra mile for common goals in cooperation with start-ups, NPOs and SMEs. Working agilely and flexibly in an extended team. What's next?
